This was the third time I stayed at this hotel. I usually travel Japan every year for a month or more. It was perfect every time. Service in Japanese hotels is generally very good to excellent. This hotel is unassuming but one level better. The personal attention to guests is just outstanding, even amazing. Good Onsen, located in a lovely bird sanctuary forest next to the lake, pleasant ambience. I was lucky this time they served Kaiseki dunner (only 6 months of the year). It was among the best I ever had (5 nights). They were kind enough to provide a translation on English for each of the courses every night.

Very nice boutique hotel , only has 6 room , modern design , though room a bit dark ..very comfortable , good f a relax vacation , close to the lake only 6 min walk , Staff r very very nice , helpful , n professional, deliver the warmest hospitality to guests , appreciated his effort 😃 food r excellent ,, they offer free ice cream after dinner , very tasty 😋

Amazing onsen both in the room and public, stunning lake view from the lounge, free tea and croissants that were not even advertised, shuttle to JR station, just generally a very elegant and cozy vibe. One of the best ryokans I ever stayed at.

Our recent stay at this new hotel was truly delightful. The hotel itself was beautiful, offering a very pleasant ambiance. The staff are sooo friendly and helpful! They are always happy to answer all the questions about the transportation and the ice festival! You may just share your plan with them and they can get you back with the best arrangement! The room is cosy and comfortable with an incredible view. The staff were absolutely incredible; we had to have our bags shipped down to Osaka due to smaller stops in Tokyo and Mt Fuji (too short to be able to guarantee the bags would arrive on time) which is a crazy distance. The ladies at the Information Centre were able to explain the process for this and even drew us a map to get to the shuttle bus to the train station and encouraged us to take a jacket and do a practice walk the night before. The tour we booked was also fantastic, and the food and local beer was great too. The room was incredible; it was so affordable for the space you're given and relaxing in the onsen overlooking the ballpark was an unforgettable experience, they even have snacks and a bar! Everyone we came across was so lovely, even other people staying were interested to hear about our trip as it's not a common place to find foreigners.
