Nakanoshima is an idyllic location; the island is the perfect place to relax and leave all your tensions behind. The personnel, facilities, and service ensure your stay is spotless and exceeds all expectations. We only stayed here for a night, but I wish I could stay for two or three more.

I loved my room which had a great view of the Pacific Ocean and I could see sunrise from my balconey. The room was extremely comfortable for one person and the housekeeping staff were discreet. The onsens were awesome especially in the day time when it was quieter, with fewer people. Loved the cave onsens - what an experience! The meals (breakfast and dinner) provided adequate choices for someone who stayed 3 nights. The front desk, reception staff, the transport team (van and ferry) were very professional and friendly. I found my way by public bus to the Nachi Falls which was a nice day trip.

The buffet was awesome! So many options to choose from. Will certainly consider coming back again. The onsens were fantastic. There is an indoor one and two outdoor onsens (one with shelter and milky water; while the other open-air with great view of the bay)

Such a lovely hotel with wonderful staff. The views from the hotel are great, we had a sea view room. We asked for help with a dinner reservation and the hotel found us a fantastic and friendly local restaurant (great tempura!) and also drove us there and back. Also a mention for the outdoor onsen, one of the best we’ve been to. We stayed here 1 night after a day in Hongu and Nachi, it’s a great place to stay close to Nachi. Great value for money too.

This was fantastic! We had a Japanese room with a view over the bay and the mountains. It was so beautiful! The services at the hotel were exceptionel. We recommend the private onsen - it's such a pleasure! The breakfast and dinner offered a huge selection of great food. The hotel also provides free parking spaces. We would have loved to stay longer! We enjoyed every minute of our stay.

Great location with room and onsens overlooking the ocean, lovely garden / observatory with peaceful areas for a quiet moment. Fantastic to sit solo in the onsen with the occasional splash of cool water coming in from the ocean. Room was spacious and clean.

Obviously, the best feature is the range of onsens and the main ones in the caves next to the ocean. A great experience. Excellent and friendly staff in all areas. Range and quality of food in dinner and breakfast buffet was good. Not a modern resort complex with some exterior parts in need of refurbishing but it has a long history which adds to its charm.
