We paid a bit extra for a larger room & it was very spacious, as was the en-suite. The bedroom & bathroom were a little dated, but very good quality fittings. The bedroom window actually opened, which was welcome. The biggest positive for this hotel was the delicious (& regional options) at breakfast, plus the two ladies who run the show in the breakfast room. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed their banter & good humour. We hope the management realise their worth! Oh, and the location is fabulous, too. Less than a minute from all the arcades, with easy access to Ritsurin Gardens, ferry port & JR Station. We would stay again if coming back to Takamatsu.

The staff were able to communicate fluently in English and check-in was smooth and efficient. The room was very comfortable, spacious (by Japanese standards) and well thought out, and I enjoyed the Japanese garden view. It is located near a covered shopping street which was very convenient.

The property was at the top of a mountain so it had incredible views. The room was comfy and had memory foam mattresses. The food is a good mix of western and Asian and would be good for a variety of people.
