We were in town for a big event, the location is a quick walk, but we could get a good rest without the noise pollution. Also, there are good restaurants nearby. The family that runs the place is also very nice.

Saranga and his team were the perfect hosts for our five nights stay in Ella. They solved all our little issues (e.g. lack of water pressure) and arranged tours to Yala (safari), to a tea factory and also a shuttle to Negombo at the end of our stay. He even provided is own phone number so we can text or call him when we needed something. The issues some other reviewers wrote with toilet paper (no idea what kind of special problems they had...) or towels are not existent. Just talk to the staff, they will solve everything! Highly recommended also because it is very quite up there but you are either used to walking or use Tuk Tuks to go down to the city since it is quite a steep climb.

Great pool and view, the location is far away from the town but for us it was perfect to rest surrounded by nature, the staff is super friendly and attentive, they even did an upgrade for us to a room with a better view and we truly appreciate it.
