Excellent location, very convenient to visit many Funchal attractions. The staff is professional and welcoming. The hotel is spotless, our room was cleaned daily and it was really very clean. Nice spacious accommodation and beautiful view from the balcony. Breakfast was very tasty, a lot of choices are available, everything is fresh and constantly refilled. Perfect location in the centre of Funchal, but very quiet surroundings. Wonderful breakfast with plenty of fresh food, also made on request. A lot of local fresh fruits. Extremely helpful personnel. Goncalo recommended us several places to eat and enjoy Funchal - all of them were just great for us. Well equipped spa. We also had a massage in the hotel. Good bar on the ground floor. We did not have time to enjoy the pool bar on the roof. We made a reservation for 2 nights, but finally we have stayed 7 nights. Unforgettable stay.
