Stunning room, stunning pools, amazing complementary breakfast. A close walk to the grocery store which was great. The paid airport shuttle was a nice service as well.

A vision of paradise, one of our best stays ever. Part of the appeal is that of the Azores, with their perfect climate and wonderful scenery, but Jeiroes has a charm all its own. Roomy, clean, huge bed, all amenities, a veranda overlooking Madalena harbour and the nearby island Faial, with wonderful sunsets. A stone's throw from a swimming pool and sea pool. Secluded and very peaceful, but a short walk along the coast to downtown Madalena, which has a handful of restaurants and bars open late. Very helpful and considerate staff, which helped us to book taxis and gave us good advice.

Situated on Madalena, Pico Island, Caravelas is surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean on 3 sides and overlooks Faial Island. It features an outdoor pool, a 24-hour reception, and car rental.

We had a nice and comfortable room with a little basket of fruits for your welcome. The room had a nice balcony with a view to the harbour and Faial. In a minute you can reach the harbour and the city centre. There is a cleaning service everyday (if you need it). The breakfast buffet is really big and has a lot of offerings (they even had soy milk and milk without lactose; lots of bread, ham, cheese, cereals with different seeds, lots of fruits, many cakes, eggs, beans and so on...). The staff is very polite. We are not used to big hotels and normally stay at smaller/simpler places so we missed nothing at all.
