United Arab EmiratesThe beautiful room and proximity to nature. The whole site is stunning. Food was very good - room mini bar very generous. We loved the private plunge pool to cool off and the choice of bath or outside shower. The guides are very knowledgeable but the drives are at different times from other places we’ve stayed - afternoon departs at 3 pm so ensure you’re there in plenty of time.

IcelandStayed for 4 nights, we had the best of time and highlight of South Africa. Rob was our guide and is an absolute legend, so knowledgeable and a great guy. Staff overall were super.
We stayed for 4 nights which gave us bunch of great sightings. Sightings can really differ between days.
Vegan food was great.

This must be THE BEST safari lodge and wildlife experience in southern SA!
The location, the staff, the guides, the food, the overall experience was absolutely superb.
An added bonus was the open bar. A very nice touch indeed.
We were lucky enough to meet the owners, and we can see why this place is as nice as it was :-)

The Hlosi game lodge and the reserve were one of our highlights of our SA trips.
We had a lovely very spacious house and deck with 2 bathrooms with in- and outside showers.
Restaurant and deck with view to the waterhole with 2 hippos was amazing.
All game drives were breathtaking and “successful”. We saw all big five (replacing the leopard by cheetahs) plus giraffes, zebras, kudus, etc. very close. It was our best location to spot many animals.

Everything from the location to the staff. The reserve is beautiful. The game rangers were incredibly knowledgable and funny and a pleasure to be on a drive with. As a solo traveler I love that everyone dines together

Food was absolutely wonderful. Staff were amazing - friendly, efficient and professional. Having spent countless days in the South African bush, this was a step above it all. To have a game ranger like Martin conducting our twice daily drives was the “cherry on the top”. His lovely attitude, enthusiasm and incredible knowledge makes the Safari Lodge a definite return location.

The room and personal service of the staff were excellent. The food was really good and the location is amazing. The games drives and the knowledge and experience of the guides were fantastic.
