Featuring free WiFi, Quality Resort Parkhurst offers accommodation in Rockhampton, 9 km from Rockhampton Showgrounds. With a fitness centre, the property also features a garden, as well as a terrace. The restaurant serves Australian cuisine. Can’t fault this resort, our second time staying. Will always be our go to whenever we’re in need of accommodation in Rocky. Great location, close to all local amenities plus a 30 minute drive to Yeppoon. Clean and family friendly, bonus is the pool.

Casa Nostra Motel offers self-contained accommodation in Rockhampton. Air-conditioning are provided in all rooms

Guests have access to an outdoor pool, laundry facilities and an on-site restaurant. There is a 24-hour front desk and a garden. Loved these chalet style apartments. We had undercover parking outside the door. Great size rooms and spotlessly clean. Had a small patio, could have done with a couple of extra chairs, which was pleasant to sit out on an evening or for breakfast. Nice pool and bbq area which we used and next to it the laundry. Whilst bbq a kangaroo with a joey in her pouch came right outside next to us. Overall we had a fantastic 2 night stay here. I would recommend the Parkhurst Tavern for food a 2 minute drive away.

On the eastern side of the resort is Horseshoe Bay, rated as one of the best beaches in Australia, while on the western side is the picturesque Greys Bay. You can enjoy watching the sunrise and sunset over the water on the main land, from the resort. Fantastic location between 2 beautiful beaches, windy and sheltered side. Wonderful sunset views. George the pheasant and several cassowaries add color. Comfy rooms, beds bathrooms and verandas. Helpful staff, Very nicely kept gardens.

The luxurious 4.5 star Homestead Stable and 4 star Pioneer Slab Hut rooms have private use of the bath terrace. All other rooms are 3.5 stars and have access to the shared swimming pool, BBQ and laundry facilities. The room/slab hut was fabulous - all the mod cons were there in an outback yesteryear kinda way. The pool was clean and refreshing, and we were able to cook a barbeque at the end of the day!
