Beachfront property located in Puerto Viejo. Estblishment set 40 m away from the beach., less than 1 km from Chiquita Beach. Jaguar Rescue Center is 2.7 km from the accommodation. Was amazing the the staff are lovely! Saw a sloth on our first day, we also saw monkeys and green macaws which we learned are rare! We saw them all on the hotel beach (obviously naturally as the hotel is on the middle of a forest on the beach) overall it was amazing and the food was so good! Highly recommend!

Excellent accommodation set off the road in beautiful grounds amongst tropical trees, plants and the amazing howler monkeys. It was so much better than I expected and also close to the small town within walking distance via a pathway, about 10 minutes walk. I think we saw more wildlife in this area than other places we visited such as Fortuna which is on the recommended tourist trial. You feel like you are in your own little tropical rain forest and rooms are not overlooked . All facilities around the pool are also great.

We just got back from staying here for a week and LOVED IT! They gave us a few complementary things (coconuts, bottle of wine, etc. during the stay and just seemed genuinely happy to have us! The bungalows are awesome, with A/C in the bedrooms (extremely necessary). We were with our 18 month old toddler and the following was awesome with a kid: - less than a block’s walk to the beach (chill dirt road) - ground level bungalow and fully gated property so pretty safe for her to run around - a smaller pool in addition to the big pool that she could stand in (she’s 80 cm tall) and has an umbrella so it can be fully shaded - had her own air-conditioned room (and they provided a big pack-n-play/crib) - no breakfast, but just 50 m toward the beach is an amazing breakfast place that we went to every morning (Bridgett’s Ranch - so many animals, wild and domesticated!)

Situated in Puerto Viejo in the Limon Region, 13 km from Cahuita, Sueño Grande features a year-round outdoor pool, a garden and views of the pool. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. The breakfasts were excellent with so much variety and always plated with a freshly cut flower much like a work of art. Every day featured a different fruit smoothie with delicious homebaked pastries. Martin and Dominique are a storehouse of knowledge regarding local activities, restaurants that are popular or hidden gems, and excursions which offer the greatest enjoyment and value.

Offering a restaurant, Almonds & Corals Boutique Hotel is located within the Gandoca-Manzanillo Wildlife Refuge and in front of Manzanillo beach. Free WiFi access is available on common areas. Staff were so friendly and helpful, bungalow was so unique, clean and well kept. Obviously it was a bit noisy because it’s in the jungle, but to be expected, and such a unique experience. Food was really good, would definitely recommend.

It’s my 7th visit to Puerto Viejo, since I fell in love with this place, and this was far better than anything I rented here before. It’s just something else…I guess when the plants grow higher this will look as you were living in the jungle. But even now, when it’s new, you have that experience. The breakfast is exceptional, the staff is very friendly, the manager really knows his job. I’m not sure whether I most enjoyed the early mornings, when the jungle switches on and the howler monkeys wake you up, or the evenings, for the illumination of the resort is just another experience. I like a log…it’s beautiful, amazing and outstanding, really
