El Hotel Cuevas, situado en la pintoresca localidad de Santillana del Mar, ocupa un edificio rústico con una decoración moderna y alberga una piscina exterior de temporada con terraza amueblada. This hotel was an unexpected suprise. The lady that took care of our check in was super friendly and efficient. This hotel is beautifully decorated,paying very close attention to every detail. The room was very nice, and the bathroom very large. The pool area is beautiful and they have a truck/bar besides the pool, with service until late at night. The buffet breakfast is one of the best I have ever seen, Very good food and incredibly well presented. And on top of everything, on check out the lady in the front guest had a gift for us on our departure: a nice tote bag with water bottles and snaks. Unexpected and very much appreciated. This is a superb hotel. And also parking was free.

Hotel Rhin Garden está en Santander, a 4 min a pie de Playa El Sardinero II, y dispone de alojamiento con piscina de temporada al aire libre, parking privado, jardín y terraza. Breakfast was super and the staff were really helpful. Location was perfect - right by the beach and a short taxi ride from the old town centre.

Este hotel con encanto de estilo rústico está situado en una casa restaurada del siglo XVII, en el centro de Santillana del Mar. Fabulous! Everything about it. As beautiful as Santillana is, it's too touristy for me but we we're starting our next section of the CAMINO DEL NORTE from the town. The location is great, the building is beautiful, the room was fabulous AND as for the breakfast (Included) I wish I had 3 stomachs, there was SO MUCH wonderful choice, amd the price was incredible. In my own stupidity I left a pair of sandals at the hotel, I only realised when I arrived at Comillas. I rang the hotel and they offered to drive over to COMILLAS with them, which I couldn't let them do, and will collect them when I return to the area in May, awesome awesome people running a fabulous hotel!!

Abba Palacio de Soñanes Hotel dispone de jardín, terraza, restaurante y bar en Villacarriedo. Great place fantastic history so elegant so comfortable.Well worth the stay would like to go again.

Hotel Palacio de Caranceja está en Reocín, a 38 km de Puerto de Santander, y dispone de alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis y bar. The staff were very friendly and helpful and made us feel so welcome and were also quick on responses to emails. The main house is beautiful with its original features

Hotel la Casona de Barrio, Alto Campoo dispone de piscina de temporada al aire libre, jardín, salón de uso común y terraza en Barrio. A perfect place for a romantic stay. Jorge, the owner, was very friendly and helpful.

EL RINCON DE AJO está a solo 19 min a pie de Playa de Cuberris, en Ajo, y dispone de pista de tenis, piscina al aire libre, wifi gratis y mostrador de información turística. Very nice apartment and great location only 5 mins walk into Ajo where there are shops, bars and restaurants
