Restaurant Aitta can be found on site. Aitta is specialized in Nordic cuisine with modern twist and uses locally produced ingredients. This resort is extremely well run and is picturesque lakeside. The property is spread out across many acres and some of the activities are operated from the surrounding properties (reindeer farm and dog sledding) and are walking distance. The resort requires vehicles to get to and is not near the town of Robaniemi. Transportation will need to be arranged. We rented a car and it was easy to get to from the town.

A flat-screen TV, minibar and tea/coffee facilities are standard at Arctic Light Hotel. Bathrobes and slippers add extra comfort, and some rooms have their own kitchenette. Each room has a private bathroom with a hairdryer and a bath or shower. The location was very central in walking distance (2-5min) to shops, cafes and restaurants. Nili restaurant is directly next to it. Beds were comfy. room was clean and the windows can be opened (unlike in other hotels) for some fresh air. Rooms are also very well sound proof. breakfast was delicious with lots of variety, even for vegan people. Kind staff at the reception.

A sofa, TV and dishwasher are standard at Tundrea Holiday Resort. Cottages also include balconies and fireplaces. In-room breakfasts can be ordered on site. Everything was good comfortable and cozy

The award-winning Restaurant Aanaar is located in Wilderness Hotel Juutua. The hotel also offers activities and meeting facilities. The hotel is by a beautiful river, close to the Siida Museum, and near trails. It has comfortable common areas with close views of the river. The in room sauna was a delight. And the room was spacious. The staff was friendly and helpful. Stores and cafes were just a short walk away.

The place it self is magical , and the chalet is super beautiful near to the lake , you can see the aurora lights from there , the sauna was amazing and authentic , and dont miss the dinner , super tasty. Our hosts were super welcoming and helpful , and always there when needed. I will certainly came back in spring.

Boasting a bar and free WiFi, Aurora Queen Resort Igloos is situated in Saariselka. Featuring a fitness centre, this 4-star resort has air-conditioned rooms with a private bathroom. There is a restaurant serving local cuisine, and free private parking is available. AQ is much over our expectations. The Igloos are just settled among the snow covered forests. We could also often find reindeers strolling around in near forest, and even around the Igloo. The scenery of the surrounding is a real fairy land. The Igloo is very comfortable and warm. Both the Igloo house and interior design are very cozy and paid attention to each detail. The decorations of the restaurant are something like an art gallery. The chef also makes very nice Nordic cuisine for guests. The high light was the driving snowmobile through the trail among the white forest. It was a so beautiful experience. We even met reindeers on the way of driving. Especially the guide was a very gentle and friendly young man. He told us many stories about the local nature and tried many ways to let us enjoy the driving. All the staffs are very nice. Nina and her husband are very friendly to the guests. They talked to us like friends. We got a most beautiful memories in AQ in our Finnish Arctic Circle trip.
