Of course this means there is about a 1km trip from the train station which was an easy walk. On arrival, we dropped our bags just up the street at La Conciergerie [NannyBag reservation, worked very well, very nice people]. The entry directions were clear and easy to do. The room, an appartment, was everything you would expect. We didn't get to meet Camille but she checked up on us regularly and I'm sure would have been help if we needed. For the older non-EU folks like us, a smart phone usable in Europe is almost necessary to stay here though (at a minimum e-mail access). Finally, if you take day-trips by train from Colmar the Uber application is a handy backup [without Uber we would have been stuck in Bollwiller due to rail equipment failure that stopped trains thru Bollwiller for an entire afternoon/evening].
