The Crown Inn is a beautiful building dating from 1633. Surrounded by Gloucestershire countryside, you can enjoy excellent views across the Golden Valley. Super friendly people, very delicious dinner, comfortable beds. What else to wish? Maybe a breakfast offer could be improved. But overall 9.5 of 10.

Both free WiFi and parking on-site are available at the bed and breakfast free of charge. Lacock Abbey is 36 km from the bed and breakfast and Kingsholm Stadium is 36 km away. Loved absolutely everything about this delightful B&B. On arrival we were greeted by Neil in such a warm friendly way, it felt we were coming home to family. The room was comfortable and well equipped, shower had good pressure and the bathroom was warm. breakfast was very tasty indeed and made with locally sourced ingredients. Bridget and Neil took time to chat to us and their other guests breakfast and, in my opinion, were excellent hosts. For me who lives in a city but is a country girl at heart, looking out the window each morning and seeing sheep in the field was a real treat….good for my soul. Would love to come back, maybe in the Summer to make the most of the gorgeous countryside and Neil & Bridget’s hospitality.

It is in a perfect location away from the crowds of Burford, set in beautiful countryside. The pub and rooms had just been refurbished. The rooms were really cozy and the food was excellent. We visited lots of pubs in the area and this was definitely the best. The owner and her stuff were wonderful, welcoming and helpful, we would definitely love to come back.

Very easy walk to town centre and shops. Train just 8 / 10 minute drive. Staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. There are a few stairs, so if you have heavy luggage, be aware of that.However, staff are accommodating with this ,if available . I highly recommend this place. Safe and secure.
