This place is perfectly lovely as is the gentleman who runs it. He had great advice on which places to go based on our particular interests and gave us a tour of the grounds. We felt very cared for. The grounds are beautiful and the rooms are sumptuous and spacious. Slept like a rock. The beds are really comfortable and the linens of high quality. We all took our filling breakfasts out to garden to eat amongst the trees...and cats. The cats were delightful, too.

Wonderful hotel - highly recommended. Located a walking distance from the beach and Tavernas. Excellent hospitality by very attentive staff. Very good breakfast - variety of local foods. Big rooms: living room with fully equipped kitchen and dining space. We asked and received a coffee machine. Nice and capacious bedroom, 2 balconies, very good air-conditioning! Nice swimming pool and poolside bar.

Only 100 metres from Bella Vista Beach and 1 km from Chios Town, the Grecian Castle offers year-round accommodation in elegant rooms. An outdoor pool with spacious sunbathing terrace is featured on site. Free Wi-Fi is provided in the main building. We had a fantastic stay at the hotel, it was one of my best experiences for a beach vacation. The hotel is situated close to the city centre, a 15 minute walk to shops and restaurants. There is a beach closeby with free sunbeds, while you should also enjoy other beaches that are a short taxi ride like Karfas Beach or Glaroi beach, both cost 15 euros one way. What we enjoyed the most about the hotel was the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff, they made the experience much better. They were always open to help and very hospitable. The rooms were cleaned every day, towels were changed every day. I am thankful that the cleaning staff even airconditioned the room before we arrived from the beach every day :) We had a package including breakfast and dinner. The breakfast was great, everything you need is there. Dinners included one tapas, one salad, two main courses and dessert for two people. Every meal we had were absolutely top-notch, there was nothing we did not like. We got to experience some very good Greek meals throughout the stay. The hotel buildings are beautiful and historical, very picturesque. I think our 5-night stay was absolutely worth the price and we regretted not booking a longer vacation. Golden Sand rooms are spacious and come with a satellite TV, mini bar and hairdryer. They all have a private bathroom with bathtub or shower. Only there for one night as missed our ferry connection. Really lovely hotel. Clean, great amenities, good food, friendly, helpful staff.
