As soon as I entered the gates It felt so tranquil. I stayed in a premium villa, which is really large and airy and has a veranda for watching the birds during the day or just relaxing. The pool area is so peaceful, surrounded by tropical flowers & plants. All the staff went out of their way to help with anything, they were very knowledgeable about all the wildlife, plants and spices. The food here is great too, if I had one small quibble, it’s that you always got way too much food. I would highly recommend Pepper Trail.

Plentiful hot water. Nice balcony and chairs to sit out on. Fridge in room and kettle etc. Lovely infinity pool with natural water and three sun beds... only one had one cushion but maybe they were available on request. Games room with Karom board, magnetic darts and chess. Access to the rocks by a river pool in the daytime. Staff very friendly and food excellent. Had to pay by instant Wise bank transfer as Wise card and credit cards didn't work in their card machine, they didn't know why. So if you're not from India, take cash or be ready to transfer with Wise or similar instant transfer. Night safari available to see elephants which there are around Thirunelly. Family thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
