An absolutely fabulous building steeped in history just far enough from the main track to be secluded (I visited off season); with easy parking, a fantastic rocky beach and great running / walking on the door step. You will enjoy free private parking at NH Ancona, which is an uphill climb and easily reachable by taxi or car. I had an excellent stay at NH Ancona. The breakfast was very good, and the location is great—no more than a 10-minute walk to a main street with shops and restaurants. The service was friendly and helpful. It’s very easy to get a taxi from the hotel; it usually arrives within 5 minutes. The train station is also very close by taxi. You could walk, but there are many stairs which can be challenging if you're carrying luggage.
