The property is 44 km from Isola dei Gabbiani, and within 300 metres of the city centre. The location is perfect to explore historic & newer Olbia. A short drive from the port to this hotel. Although always a bit tricky with not being able to enter certain streets, as with most European historic centers, google maps led the way and we were still able to unload & reload our bags in front of the hotel. The parking was just down the street. Our room was quite spacious, with all the amenities we needed. Breakfast was served downstairs, and although we only ate on the last day there was quite a variety of breads, fruit and sweets~ Although it is off season here, there are still enough retail, bars & restaurants open, The staff at La Locanda Del Conte Marmeli, were so so attentive and always smiling!

Surrounded by the Sardinian countryside, Tenuta Pilastru Country Resort & Spa sells homemade wine and salami, plus grappa and limoncello liqueurs. On arrival we had the friendliest of welcomes, and then shown to our room. The facilities available to us were pointed out on route, and we booked a table at the restaurant, which we found to be amazing. The staff were all fantastic, breakfast spread is incredible and the evening meal, outside with far reaching views and the sun setting: couldn't be happier. The resort is very spacious and you can always find a spot for a piece of solitude.

With its hilltop position and large gardens, Moma Hotel Cannigione offers panoramic views of Cannigione Bay and the surrounding countryside. All its rooms feature traditional Sardinian pottery and terrace. Parking is free. It was immaculately clean. The breakfast was very good. We loved the pool and all the views. Also the manager was so friendly!

Bajaloglia Resort is set on a hilltop overlooking the medieval village of Castelsardo, Doria Castle, and the sea. Its large garden features a swimming pool and sunbathing area.

All rooms at the Bajaloglia have air conditioned and have a private balcony with sea view. Free Wi-Fi is also available in all the areas. Honestly I dont know where to start. The staff was super hospitable. From the receptionists, the waiters, everyone was so cool. I basically ate 3 nights out of 3 at the hotel restaurant for dinner, as it was that good. I never got over the view of Castelsardo and the sea. Its just magical. Waking up to that view and reading or doing whatever, its just such a nice vibe. The room was comfortable and had everything needed, cleaned daily. I had a private parking next to the room, and easily drove to whatever I decided to do for the day.
