The room was comfy and spacious (relative to other places in Japan). The spa/bath was a great amenity. The location is close to the mall/market which was nice, but far from the main train station and the ferry. Great value for the money. Staff was friendly but with this hotel things are automated well in check-in and check-out so I didn't see the staff much.

Nice interior, feels premium.

Room was clean and comfortable, the view from the roof top open air onsen was amazing, buffet dinner and breakfast with large selection and delicious, staffs are friendly and helpful with excellent service.

Each air-conditioned room at Sunflex Kagoshima is equipped with a flat-screen TV, fridge and hairdryer. The en suite bathroom comes with a bathtub and bath amenities. This location was very ideal for us: not too far from the hustle and bustle of the city but also walking distance to the main ferry terminals. Each member of the staff was friendly, helpful and extremely courteous. We were all tremendously impressed with the breakfast too. For the price alone, we would definitely stay here again if we come back to Kagoshima!
