The outdoor swimming pool is beautiful, large enough for a little swim, with views right on the seaside and the celebrated local pine grove. You can easily go from beach to swimming pool. We were well received and kindly upgraded to a huge, luxurious room; every comfort you can think of was there. The circulation from bedroom to onsen to swimming pool can be complex, but we were given an English language map that greatly helped. This was our second stay in Karatsu, and we'd love to come back and stay in Karatsu Seaside Hotel another time !

Had an early departure before breakfast- they packed a Bento Box for me to eat on the train. Facilities and service exceeded my expectations.

Staff was welcoming and warm attitude. Hotel lobby is spacious and the lounge area comfortable. Onsen has a great view .

Het Ryokan Yoshidaya biedt accommodatie in Ureshino. U kunt van een maaltijd genieten in het eigen restaurant. Er is gratis privéparkeergelegenheid bij de accommodatie. We found everything was great here, the room, the private and public hot bath; the food and the staff. The location of Ryokan Yoshidaya is excellent. It is close to the river where it has a road of sakura. We had a perfect walk in the morning and the view was absolutely gorgeous. We stayed at Worikara, a villa just a stone's throw away from its main ryokan and a perfect place for us to relax and unwind after a day's hike. We liked the breakfast and the dinner which were rich in varieties and taste. Finally, we must give credits to the staff who served us. They were friendly, helpful and patient to answer our questions. The translation system in the mobile phones they were using was perfect to break the language barrier and in fact, some of the staff who served us spoke excellent English. Our only regret was that we had no time to visit its cafe. We would definitely stay at this ryokan again when we visit Fukuoka again next year.

Boasting spacious hot spring baths overlooking Ureshino River, historic Ryokan Omuraya provides traditional accommodation fitted with tatami (woven-straw) flooring and serves a carefully prepared... We stayed at Ryokan Oomuraya in a big family group to celebrate my husband’s birthday and it was the highlight of our trip! It is a beautiful traditional ryokan with a fun music focus. Everything about our stay was so enjoyable, from the relaxing onsen to the delicious and creative meals, the excellent drinks and atmosphere at the music bar, and of course the hospitality of the lovely staff! They helped me to arrange a cake for my husband’s birthday, cheerfully sang happy birthday with us and gave him some party hats to wear! Ureshino Onsen is a beautiful little town which was fun to explore, with lovely cafes and gift shops. We hope to visit again one day!
