Lakaz Chamarel Exclusive Lodge wordt omringd door het Natuurpark Black River en de bergen van Chamarel, en biedt een weids uitzicht op de oceaan. De lodge ligt op 6 km van het dorp La Goulette. WOW. First of all, the owners/managers and staff are so friendly and welcoming. When you drive into the hotel grounds it is like arriving in some kind of garden of Eden. They have beautifully landscaped the grounds so it’s full of a diversity of native plants and birds, even better than the botanic gardens in many ways! If I had been there longer I would have enjoyed using the fantastic gym facilities and free yoga classes. I had one of the Mountain View rooms with a private pool and it was incredible. One of the nicest rooms I’ve ever stayed in. It was large with a spacious terrace. Gorgeous outdoor shower. They left body oil and scrub which was a really nice touch. There was a really nice shared pool area too which was never busy. I really enjoyed sitting after dinner next to the fire pit and reading my book. The sky was clear with a great view of the stars and at dusk you could see all the fruit bats flying over. The view bar was really good, great cocktails and lots of free snacks brought round! And of course a great view. I drove down to Le Morne beach which was gorgeous and had some good snorkeling right off it. Much quieter than other beaches I visited further up the coast. I went to the geo park and waterfall which were lovely. With more time and some cooler temperatures I would have liked to have explored some of the hiking around. Amazing place I will recommend to friends and family, I hope to get the chance to go back.

Mooie schone huisjes. Prima systeem met drinkwater op verschillende tappunten, een drinkfles wordt bij binnenkomst verstrekt en is hervulbaar bij deze tappunten. Ook de gratis extra's als snorkelexcursies, waterfietsen e.d. is prima geregeld.

Villa Delice, exquisite avec piscine privée heeft uitzicht op de bergen, en biedt accommodatie met een buitenzwembad, een gedeelde lounge en een terras, op 3 minuten lopen van La Preneuse-strand. We really enjoyed the house - very spacious! The pool was great and the area was very convenient to all the activities in the south! It was also great to have the beach within a 5 min walk. The host was also very responsive / accommodating.

Latitude Luxury Beachfront Complex ligt aan het strand in Rivière Noire, op 9 km van Les Chute de Riviere Noire en biedt voorzieningen zoals een keuken en een flatscreen-tv. Er is gratis WiFi. Everything was perfect! I can only recommend.

Tamarina Golf and Spa Boutique Hotel is the gateway to a thousand other destinations, to discovering Mauritius’ culture and landscapes in all of their beauty and majesty... This hotel really surpassed my expectations! Every member of staff was so polite and friendly and most even knew my name and room number. Dinner and breakfast was from a set menu, unlike the buffet meals I had experienced at other hotels. The food was unbelievable (especially the beef tenderloin) and was a beautiful candlelit meal by the sea. I arrived late, after lunch had been served, and there was no food but the chefs were so kind enough to make something just for me The infinity pool overlooking the beach was beautiful and the beach is more private and quieter here making it my preference over the nearby flic en flac beach. A fantastic experience, would definitely recommend for a relaxing holiday by the sea! Thank you to all here for making my stay so memorable
