Noordin Mews is situated a 5-minute walk from Komtar and 1st Avenue. Heritage Area is a 10-minute walk from the hotel while Gurney Drive is a 15-minute drive away. Fabulous stay, my first time in Malaysia. The characterful and historic building is renovated with great taste and simplicity, creating a comfortable, secure and relaxing environment. The room was of good size, comfortable bed, desk etc and excellent shower. The air-con was efficient and very necessary! Breakfast is by the pool and offers a daily "Asian special" which features the different cuisines of the island. The hotel is located just outside the UNESCO bufferzone, the neighbourhood is safe and very walkable with many exceptional eating options within a short walk. Special mention for the hotel staff who were exceptionally welcoming and attentive.

The spacious rooms are all air conditioned and equipped with a flat-screen cable TV, a laptop safe and an iPod docking station. They also have a minibar, ironing facilities and modern bathroom facilities. Great location with easy access to Georgetown attractions. Staff were very helpful and friendly. My room was very quaint, bed was extremely comfortable. The downstairs restaurant was a bonus and wonderful food. Lovely upstairs outside area to enjoy a drink and chat to fellow travellers.
