Futhermore, the staff proactively offered access to a sister property's swimming facilities - we regrettably didn't have time to take advantage, but appreciated the thoughtful gesture during the hottest month in Malaysia. Zeer goed ontbijt en heerlijk zwembad met elke dag een wijnproeverij en bijbehorende kaasplankje. Veel en behulpzaam personeel.

They are very helpful and can reach out to them easily via whatsapp for questions. they provide little local snacks each night for us to try. one thing i didn't read properly is that there is no TV in the room, but it was fine. we were watching on ipads and just chill in the room

Fabulous stay, my first time in Malaysia. The characterful and historic building is renovated with great taste and simplicity, creating a comfortable, secure and relaxing environment. The room was of good size, comfortable bed, desk etc and excellent shower. The air-con was efficient and very necessary! Breakfast is by the pool and offers a daily "Asian special" which features the different cuisines of the island. The hotel is located just outside the UNESCO bufferzone, the neighbourhood is safe and very walkable with many exceptional eating options within a short walk. Special mention for the hotel staff who were exceptionally welcoming and attentive.
