Genuinely caring and thoughtful staff. Knowledgeable about the surroundings, food and wines. We had drinks in the lounge with a roaring fire and there were boardgames to play. The head-chef is such a great human. Spent time talking to our family about the wildlife and accommodated to our daughters on food. The rooms were well appointed. Slightly warm for our taste but was easily adjustable. The surrounding grounds are well kept, with great walking paths. There are bikes on site as well. There is a great pool (1.40) that is heated to 28 degrees. We didn't swim in it as there was a storm, but we would have gladly done so otherwise. The poolhouse allows for changing right next to the pool and in the summer months they serve light snacks there as well. We will definitely come back!

The hostess is friendly and good-natured. the house is located in the backyard of the main house, so there were no issues with keys and access to the location at all. the beds are very soft, and in winter you can enjoy the fireplace, which warms the room very well. I recommend it to those who love peace and tranquility.
