Breakfast was as expected for a buffet style included in the price and had numerous options for both Western and Chinese style. We weren't expecting the following in our room, high quality tea, coffee, bottles of water, snacks, and beverages in the refrigerator. Actual potable drinking water system available in the room and if you preferred sparkling water, it is available down the hall next to the elevators. Parking available on site, be sure to have your license plate available at check in. Numerous restaurants and stores available in the immediate area (see map in your room guest folder). Money for value without question, would definitely stay again.

Offering free bicycle rentals and free Wi-Fi, it also has a fitness centre and 24-hour front desk. Moon Gallery Restaurant serves Asian dishes, while a daily buffet breakfast is also available. Excellent location, close to Shuishe wharf to catch ferries (10 min walk). Plenty of complimentary bikes at hotel and we used them to do the bike trail too (I do note it is shoulder season so maybe this changes during peak). Breakfast was included and it was delicious and abundant. Our room had a spa and tatami mat area which we did not expect! Balcony view of lake was great too. Courteous staff (Eugine).

The Richforest Hotel- Sun Moon Lake sits beside the scenic Sun Moon Lake, the largest freshwater lake in Taiwan. Free WiFi and an indoor pool are available. The on-site restaurant features international dishes and 180-degree lake views. It’s got stains and shows age, but it is a very nicely staffed property. The desk spoke English well. Breakfast is large and tasted good. I was worried about not having an elevator but the stairs really weren’t that bad.
