All 4 rooms have a terrific ocean view, a tropic forest behind a window, endless songs of Hawaiian birds in the evening and in the morning! The room was clean and nice, the lanai was beautiful, and the owners were very nice people. Breakfast was great, homemade food that the owners make for their guests every morning. Having your breakfast on the huge balcony on the second floor surrounded by tropical trees canopies with myriads of birds was amazing. Location was also convenient for us as we were exploring the entire island. There is a large supermarket in 15 min drive from the house.

This Kohala Coast, Hawaii resort offers guest villa’s with a full kitchen and a private terrace. The resort is located on the Francis H. II Brown Golf Course (South Course). My husband and I loved the spacious two-bedroom first-floor apartment with a patio that opened up to a lawn with an unobstructed view of the ocean. It was absolutely quiet and peaceful. The resort has a nice grocery store, restaurants, great snorkeling, all sorts of birds and tropical fish, great sunset views, a nice pool/jacuzzi club house. A special word of thanks is due to the concierge (Marvellee), who checked in with us daily for anything we needed and was very accommodating. Mauna Lani really exceeded our expectations.

It was in a safe and beautiful area on the golf course. Private and plenty of room in the house. Nice to have a washer and dryer on site. Washed our towels between laundry service visit. Enjoyed having A/C and the ceiling fans. Option to open sliders to have fresh air and hear the wildlife was nice. Close to restaurants and stores. Not too far to drive to the beach. Pool was never too crowded. People around seemed friendly.

Great value, superb customer service, spare but very nicely minimally decorated king room with local woodwork and wall art, gorgeous entryway and lobby area, free coffee and tea 24/7, beautiful pool. Yes, some airport noise and parking on street or in free lot around the corner. But we will definitely stay here again when we return to Hilo in 2027.

It was very spacious, spotless, and fully equipped with everything one might need. The beds and linens were super comfortable and excellent quality. The unit had a washer-dryer and a spacious lanai. Absolutely loved our stay!
