Excellent location. Staff was amazing and very reactive. The rooms are gorgeous!!

Situated in North Hilo, 2.6 km from Kolekole Beach Park, Mahana House Country Inn features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and barbecue facilities. This 4-star inn offers a shared kitchen, a concierge service and free WiFi. The property is non-smoking and is located 22 km from The Pacific Tsunami Museum. We stayed at Mahana House for two nights and absolutely loved it. The cottage was beautiful and incredibly comfortable — the bed even had adjustable firmness settings! The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, and there was a laundry room where we could wash and dry our clothes for free. The cat was adorable, and for the first time, my husband changed his opinion about cats — he actually liked this one! Randy takes great care of the orchard, and the longans were delicious. We truly appreciated the peaceful surroundings — it was perfect for mindfulness and relaxation. We shared photos on Instagram, and so many of our friends are now planning to visit too! It’s about a 15-minute drive from Hilo town, so having a car is necessary — but totally worth it. This place is truly a dream stay. Highly recommended!

Complete with a microwave, the dining area also has a refrigerator. Featuring a shower, private bathroom also comes with a bath and a hairdryer. You can enjoy sea view from the room. Extras include an outdoor seating area, bed linen and a fan. Very nice Hawaiian atmosphere with the nature. Breakfast was on the balcony with a good view on the ocean. Food allergies got taken serious. Swimming equipment like beach towels, boards or snorkels was provided.

The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed — truly a home away from home. The rooms and bathrooms were incredibly spacious, and the large balcony was perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The staff went above and beyond, being super attentive and even surprising us with a thoughtful gift for our 10-year wedding anniversary. These personal touches made our stay even more memorable. We highly recommend this resort and can’t wait to return!

Kaanapali Alii boasts an exceptional location a short walk from the unique shops, art galleries and local restaurants of Whaler's Village. Numerous cultural activities along with endless recreational sports are also easily accessible. Location was great, our room had an amazing ocean view and lovely lanai that we spent a lot of time on. The kitchen was very well stocked. The beds and pillows were very comfortable.
