This recently renovated farm stay is located 32 km from Midmar Dam and 36 km from Howick Museum. This 4-star farm stay offers private entrance. We had an absolutely amazing stay at Cooperleigh. It was exactly what we needed for a family weekend catch up. We live abroad and came back to South Africa for some travels and to meet up with family and wanted to do an early family Christmas dinner and Ashleigh even arranged for a Christmas tree and lights for us which was so lovely and unexpected. The house was very clean with all the cooking and cleaning utensils you could need. Anything else we needed Ashleigh was just a message away and happy to help. He kept us informed about the loadshedding schedule and helped with back up power if we needed it. The views are lovely and the walks in the area are beautiful. Inhlazane mountain is nearby as well and was a fantastic little hike. The midlands meander is not far and it's easy to explore the cute cafes and galleries in the area. I would highly recommend this property.

All rooms at Three Tree Hill Lodge are spacious and feature touches of African décor. All rooms have private balconies offering nature views. Bathroom amenities are provided in all en suite bathrooms. I would rate this place 15/10 if I could! It was a real decadent spoil to stay here. We absolutely loved the location, the rooms are stunning, and the communal areas are so tasteful and inviting. Three Tree Hill Lodge has mastered hospitality - every effort was made to keep things classy, elegant, thoughtful. Yet, there was still an earthy feeling to the place, and I was reminded that I was on a farm with chickens and horses etc. Their care for the earth and all things green was a plus. We used the venue mostly for resting and relaxing and this is the perfect place to switch off. The self-guided walks are simply the best; the food was so unique, interesting and tasty; the staff are wonderful and attentive. Cant wait to come back!
