Our family, including a 3 and 8-year-old, just returned from a magical trip with M'Hamid Sahara Camp! Arriving in M'Hamid, we were delighted to find a vibrant cultural festival in full swing. Cheikh Larbi's team went above and beyond, ensuring we felt safe and comfortable exploring the festivities. We then embarked on an incredible 3-night dromedary safari. Our guide was fantastic - knowledgeable, attentive, and wonderful with the kids. He led us through breathtaking landscapes, we even saw gazelles! The kids loved the gentle dromedaries. Sleeping under the stars was a highlight. With zero light pollution, the sky was an endless tapestry of stars - truly awe-inspiring! Cheikh Larbi, who grew up in the desert, shared his vast knowledge and passion with us. We learned so much about the ecosystem, the stars, and Berber culture. The camp itself was an oasis of comfort and tranquility, with delicious food and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. As a father, I felt confident in the safety and security of the environment. We were treated like family. Highly recommend M'Hamid Sahara Camp for families seeking an authentic and unforgettable Sahara adventure!

Forget tourist places like Merzouga. This is the most authentic Berber experience you can have in the Moroccan desert. Before the trip, Younes contacted us via WhatsApp to understand which activities we would like to do. The road is not paved, but you can get there with a regular car. The tents are big and comfortable, and most importantly, they are not close to each other as you often see in other desert camps. The bathroom is very clean. The food service is incredible. As we spent two nights, we had two breakfasts (included), two dinners, and one lunch. The food was very authentic and plentiful. They take care of every detail. We did a three-hour camel tour with Mohammed, which was also a very nice activity. They asked us if we wanted to go for longer, but after three hours, it was perfect for us. I highly recommend this camp to anyone traveling to Morocco.

We enjoyed our stay at Nomads Heaven Camp very much. Moloud is a very experienced host and guide, very proficient in different languages. Very friendly! Food was good and typical moroccon dishes for breakfast and dinner. Everything was reasonably priced. It was very quiet, approximately 6 km from Mhamid. You live in tent-like clay buildings. It was rather warm inside during the night. So we did not need warmer clothes inside. You can walk 200-300 m and you enter an area with smaller dunes with super fine sand. We just sat there and enjoyed a sunset and sunrise there. So it is "desert experience light". Be aware that the real desert with the big 100m high dunes is 60 km/ 2h away. Moloud could have organized a tour by 4x4 and/or camel. But that would have taken us more time, also one person had health issues. So ideally you spend 2-3 days. And stay in the "real" desert overnight.

It was a great experience! A tent was spacious and clean with large and comfortable beds and food was delicious. We enjoyed quad and camel riding. Our 6 years old son enjoyed sand boarding and exploring the camp. Staff from the camp was so attentive and playful with children. I must say that I haven't visited a country before where the people are so welcoming, friendly and devoted to children. We loved our stay at chegaga starlight camp. From the beginning onward communication was very easy and everyone was super helpful. We got picked up in a small village by our kind driver Sahel and were brought to the camp (~2h drive) which was off the beaten track. We had a beautiful sunset camel ride with Ali and enjoyed the beautiful sunset. Had a delicious dinner and afterwards we enjoyed traditional music and an amazing sky full of stars (including milky way). We can really recommend this place :)

Located across the Draa River from the village, it has a vast site and an open and quiet environment, and just stepping outside the room makes you feel like you're camping in an oasis. The staff member was friendly, and even though it was late at night the previous day, he personally arranged a two-day, one-night private 4x4 tour for me and took me to the sand dunes.

Absolutely Amazing!!! Everything was outstanding. From the food to the tent to the staff. This is luxury camping. The attention to detail was superb. It was beyond our expectations. We wish we could have stayed longer. This is one experience we will never forget or stop telling people about. Highly Recommended!!!
