We stayed here for 1 night during our hike on the Rota Vincentina, and loved it!!! The caravan is so well-equipped, and one can really feel how it’s been done in a very thoughtful and creative way. The area is peaceful and quiet and yet close to São Teotónio. The hosts (and dogs) are so friendly and attentive, communication was easy and we were offered a pick-up for a small extra fee. Otherwise, it’s about a 30-40 minute walk from the centre of São Teotónio (which we did in the morning sun). We were provided the ingredients for a delicious vegetarian meal to cook ourselves and also a very elaborate breakfast, for an affordable price. We found our whole stay very cozy and comfortable, and would therefore come back and totally recommend it!

Fantastic place, low on civilization and commercialism. Contact with nature, wonderful birdsong, evening concerts of crickets and cicadas. Wonderful animals, amazing experiences in bathing in a natural lake with very friendly fish. Outdoor kitchen, all dishes tasted delicious. Beautiful view of the hills covered with cork oaks. Incredible and unique climate. Everything mega ECO.

Beautiful location looking up to Monchique and big starry nights. We had everything we needed to a very high quality, tastefully renovated caravan, outdoor cooking and the best shower. Love what Jess and Mayo are doing, creating rejuvenating space where it is worth taking time to relax and enjoy it. Perfect hosts.

The reasons why we always come back to São Miguel are the Human and Landscape factors. We love the bungalows in the freshness of the pinewood forest, the proximity of incredible cliff beaches the restaurant and the care in all things. On the other side of the balance, is the Team, young, intelligent and attentive. A special thank to Mr Raj, whom we had the privilege to know, and to attend to His Yoga Class, in camp. Awesome experience. 🔥😍 I like the concept of connection to nature without sacrificing comfort. Perfect place for a group of friends and for couples even better. I would call it a comfortable outdoor experience. Especially charming is the night sky full of stars and possibility to take shower that is outside.
