Though at first the price seems high, when you think of what you would get from a travellodge or similar, then paying for extras link breakfast and drinks, there wasn't much difference for our family of four. The location is spectacular and you feel very much in the wild. We stayed for a night to break up a visit with family and as a Christmas treat and what a treat it was. The yurt is toasty warm thanks to the wood pellet stove, though the outdoor toilet in -7 degrees was a bit chilly! There were heated blankets in the beds though we ended up not needing them. The children loved the outdoor space, the fairy doors, whimsical tree house and mud kitchen. What made it so special for us was the view of the night sky, I don't think I have ever seen so many stars and to fall asleep looking at that through the skylight was so special. The hosts have supplied so many home comforts inside the yurt too, hot chocolate and teas and coffee, a box of board games, books and home made ornaments to compliment the space. The microwave and outdoor fire pit BBQ allowed us to cook a lovely meal and then breakfast was superb, continental style with eggs probably from the chickens in the coop nearby! Would I go back? ABSOLUTELY!

Secret gem of a place. We had such a wonderful stay. The place was so cozy and lovely and the host so welcoming and helpful. Cannot recommend here enough. Thank you so much :)

Forth Mountain Glamping is gelegen in Ballintlea, op 43 km van Golfbaan Carrigleade en 7,3 km van Irish National Heritage Park, in een omgeving waar je kunt wandelen. Het uitzicht is fantastisch. We hadden helaas maar een dag de tijd.

I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the shared facilities. The pod and the location was perfect and the staff were very helpful. My only regret is not staying longer!

Een heel rustige locatie, als uitvalsbasis voor tripjes naar Wicklow, Sally Gap, Glendalough, Kilkenny, maar ook voor mooie wandelingen in de directe omgeving. Harriet en Martin zijn ontzettend aardige hosts die een prima ontbijt serveerden maar ons ook voorzagen van tips en suggesties. En dat alles op een goed half uur rijden vanaf Dublin.

It is so comfortable and the staff is very friendly. We loved the views and especially also that we could bring the dogs with. The room had different levels of lighting and you could even connect to the speakers inside the room via Bluetooth

Guests can make meals in the kitchenette that is equipped with a refrigerator, kitchenware, an oven and a microwave. Really great property, had all the essentials which was great!
