The Elewana Tortilis Camp was in a beautiful setting and the staff pulled out all of the stops to make our stay memorable. From the morning coffee/tea and cookies at wake-up to the breakfast in the bush and sundowner on top of a hill with staff Masai teaching us about their culture, the staff outdid themselves. The guide knew exactly how to track the elusive cats so that we were able to see a lioness and her 5 cubs and a cheetah and her 5 cubs. Not to mention the herds of elephants and many giraffes! What an amazing sight! Peris, Chris, Jimma, Ben, Graeme and Sandy, as well as all of the other staff whose names I have sadly forgotten, made for a fantastic safari experience!

No one tried to overcharge or scam us, they treated us very well throughout our stay. Highly recommended!

Brian’s cooking was phenomenal, Kwenia and Tom were great on walking safaris. Tom even took me across the border into Tanzania on my last day to continue on my journey. The location is serene and beautiful. Got to walk among giraffes and to learn a lot about tracks, plants and the Maasai culture.
