If you are coming to Udawalawe for a safari then this is the place to stay. Located very close to the National Park entrance this camp had us feeling like we were one with nature. Our room tent/cabin was ready on arrival. It is not a hotel so you should know going in that this is a camping adventure. Beds were comfy and cam with very good mosquito nets. The bathroom was clean and the water pressure was fine. There is no A/C but you do get a floor fan and the room also has plenty of outlets for charging. You get your own private deck in front of your tent with chairs and a beautiful view of the river. I would suggest allowing them to prepare all of your meals. They were all delicious and came at a fair price considering there is nowhere else to eat within a mile or two. The camp prepares and takes car of everything for you, meals, free river tour, and free night walk after dinner. They also will book your safari for you. Once you arrive, you do nothing. It was absolutely amazing.

The tent features air conditioning, an electric kettle, a terrace with river views as well as a private bathroom boasting a shower. The unit has 2 beds. A wonderful lodge in a beautiful setting by a beautiful river. We had a great time staying at the lodge. Cozy atmosphere, really good breakfast and very tasty dinner. The place is really clean, they arrange safari you want. Highly recommended even for a few days vacation

The staff were fantastic and always ready to help answer any questions including “what bird is that” x 20. The staff were patient and knowledgeable and they made my experience amazing!!

Ahaspokuna by Eco Team está en Belihuloya y dispone de vistas a la montaña, jardín y terraza. Todas las unidades tienen baño privado totalmente equipado con bidet y artículos de aseo gratuitos. The surroundings of the camp are just stunning. The gardeners Indika, Upalai and Kumara do a very good job. The area is very quiet and full of birdlife an other animals. Our bushwalks with Nuwan and Dimuth were great, although we could‘nt find any elephants. Kumara led us to a beautiful waterfall where we had e refreshing bath. The service and food cooked by Upalai and Rajitha was excellent. Thanks a lot to all staff - we will come back one day 👋🏼🙏🏻

Kottawatta River Bank Resort está en Udawalawe, a 17 km de Parque nacional Udawalawe, y dispone de alojamiento con piscina al aire libre, parking privado gratis, jardín y salón de uso común. Everything! Kottawatta surprised us at every turn; from the cold facial towels upon entry to the poolside drinks to an amazing curry for dinner. As a plus, the room was extremely comfortable. Our safari organized through the hotel was exceptional!

Everything is rteally nice, the rock pools are amazing and the junglke is all around you. The cabins are very new and comfortable. I thought the loud music was a bit irritating, but maybe that was just an exeption!
