This was the most darling cottage in the most picturesque setting. Our host, Angus, was very friendly and accommodating. We loved going to the grotto on the property to see the glow worms. We had a person in a wheelchair and getting to the cottage was not difficult despite there being a couple stairs. Just so light, airy and spacious,being greeted by Grant and the cat and the dog. You are overlooking glorious countryside and serenaded by bird song. I couldn't get over that we had a living room, kitchen area, decking, outdoor baths and the tented bedroom all to ourselves. I thought we might have to share a kitchen and BBQ but you don't. There's an open log fire and marshmallows to toast. We really wished we'd booked another night. You need to bring something to eat/ BBQ ideally. Then hunker down on the sofa - and there's everything you need..

It was a wonderful experience to stay at Karikari. And thank you Katalina for your dessert, it did warm me up during my solo journey. She patiently told me about restaurant, liquor shop, gas station and dairy nearby. I didn't take pictures cus I was immersed too much in enjoying myself in the house. Katalina provided me everything such as towels, milk, fruits, yogurt. I traveled by myself because of my mental illness last month and she cured me I would say. I will go to see you again, definitely, and please let me see Paul next time. I've got gifts for you. Sorry my English sucks, but love you, and I love this place.

Gorgeous Glamping in Karangahake se encuentra en Karangahake, en la región de Waikato, y ofrece alojamiento con parking privado gratis. Stunning views and really well thought out accommodation. Totally private with the relaxing sounds of the river and sheep. Comfy bed, good shower water pressure with a BBQ and well stocked kitchen (toaster, coffee plunger etc). We didn't use any heating as it was warm but could see they have indoor and outdoor heating. Self check in was easy and lovely hosts messaged us everything we needed to know. A wonderful stay and we will be back!

We enjoyed almost everything associated with the Luxury Beach Bus. Mary greeted us warmly as did Nui, her dog. The bus fixtures and fittings are top quality and the bed led to an excellent nights sleep. There were biscuits and bottled water and other little treats that enhanced our stay. We were warm and comfortable inside the bus during a coolish night. Very quiet as well. It is a shame we were unable to stay longer. Highly recommended to people looking for a different style of accommodation. If we visit Wanganui again, the Luxury Bus is our first choice for accommodation.
