Absolutely beautiful green property with the kindest hosts! We felt so welcome and cared for during our stay. Yurt was very cozy, quaint and well equipped. Would love to have stayed longer, but will definitely stay again when we find ourselves in the region again. BIG thank you to both Elaine & Alan!

This mobile home consists of 1 living room, 1 separate bedroom and 1 bathroom with a shower. The mobile home's kitchen, which features a refrigerator, is available for cooking and storing food. Extremely magical creative space surrounded by beautiful land . There is an outside bath which you heat by making a fire to sit in a hot steaming bath under the stars was divine . The bed was so comfortable the kitchen is equipped with everything you need . The outside toilet has the best view everything is absolutely perfect 👌

Perfect location for a quiet, calm getaway in close proximity to activities/landmarks that will cater to most families. Facilities were excellent, exceeded our expectations.

The comfort of the place was surprising and it wasn't cold at all. It was quirky having to go outside to the toilet and shower units.

Very peaceful, spacious, and comfortable. Would recommend. The only slight downside was the hum of traffic from highway 1, which could be heard throughout our stay.

Situated across the road from Orongo Bay, Russell-Orongo Bay Holiday Park offers accommodation with 3 BBQ areas. Guests enjoy a swimming pool and a TV lounge with a open fireplace. (Stayed in May, not Feb) Stunning spot! Loved all the birdlife - it was so relaxing sitting on the porch in the sunshine with the birds all around. Super special experience seeing a wild kiwi for the first time. The manager there was the best, and I had so much fun exploring the place with her looking for kiwi! (If you're reading this, I went for a wander to say bye to you but didn't spot you. Thank you for an awesome stay! <3 ) The cabin itself was really comfy, great wee kitchenette too, but the deck overlooking the wetlands was the highlight. I've found a new favourite holiday spot, will be back soon!

Boasting a private entrance, this air-conditioned mobile home features 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom with a hairdryer. The view over the valley was lovely, the tiny away is tiny, but it is your own space and it has a lovely little outdoor area. The host was lovely, he greeted us at arrival and suggested AH Reid walk which I highly support the recommendation. If you like being out of town a little and not in your standard accommodation this place is perfect. Also the place was spotlessly clean and quiet, we slept so well.
