Featuring free toiletries, this tent includes a private bathroom with a bath, a shower and a bidet. We stayed one night at this camp in the Wahiba Sands and had a wonderful experience. The location is fantastic — right in the heart of the desert, surrounded by beautiful dunes and perfect for watching the sunset and sunrise. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. Our tent was clean, comfortable, and well set up for a relaxing night in the desert. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience the beauty of Oman’s desert!

The tent provides a carpeted floor, as well as a private bathroom featuring a shower. The unit offers 3 beds. Everyone is SO KIND!! I really appreciated the thoughtfulness of the staff and loved the quiet and intimacy of a smaller camp (only 4 tents). It was so fun meeting people from all over the world at dinnertime and breakfast, and the campfire after dinner was amazing for sharing conversation over tea while stargazing. Everything was so comfy and clean - the bed was comfortable and I loved being able to shower underneath the stars! Finding the camp was easy enough and I had a wonderful time here. Definitely go dune bashing with Ibrahim! The food was so yummy and plentiful and the sunrises/sunsets cannot be missed. I’m so glad I chose this place to stay!!

Royal desert campはAl Rakaにある宿泊施設です。無料専用駐車場と有料空港シャトルサービスを提供しています。 フロントではアラビア語と英語を話すスタッフが滞在のお手伝いをしています。 全ての旅行者にこのキャンプを訪れることを勧めます。このキャンプの素晴らしい点は、オーナーとスタッフの親切さ、フレンドリーさ、温かさです。海外旅行で宿に宿泊すると、多くの場合はチェックインとチェックアウトの時に簡単な会話しかしないですが、このキャンプは違います。宿泊者を家族として迎え入れてくれます。送迎の車の中や夕食、アクティビティツアーの時の会話は本当に楽しいものでした。 宿泊者は伝統的なスタイルのテントか、小さなホテルのような小屋を選ぶことになります。どちらも素敵です。私は小屋の方を選びました。部屋はシンプルですが、清潔感があります。砂漠なのにシャワーを浴びることができます。充電ができるコンセントも1つありました。そして、テントの近くには休憩所があり、ここに宿泊者が集まります。スタッフとともに、他の国の人と交流することができ、とても素晴らしい時間を過ごせます。私は英語が得意ではないのですが、ここにいる人はみんな親切なので問題ありません。 夕食やサンセットトリップなどアクティビティツアーに参加することをオススメします。どれも満足するものでした。 もちろん、ゆっくり過ごす時間もたくさんあります。 砂漠の静けさと、風を音だけを楽しむ時間はとてもリラックスできます。 そもそも、日本や韓国といった東アジアの人がオマーンは訪れる機会は少ないかもしれませんが、もしトルコなどを訪れるなら、是非オマーンにも行ってみてください。マスカット空港からMwasalatというバス会社が長距離バスを運行しています。空港から、キャンプの最寄りのバス停であるMintarib Souqまでは、往復で4.2ORM（日本円で1600円）。安いです。その先は有料のオプションとして、キャンプのスタッフが送迎してくれます。砂漠を訪れたことがないなら、なおさらオススメです。 オーナーのザック、スタッフのイルファン、イドリース、アーサラン、一緒にディナーを楽しんでくれた宿泊者、全ての人に感謝したいです。私にとって、これまでの人生で一番素敵な宿の時間でした。

Ali and his family were very warm and welcome. They explained to us about the life of the Bedouin and we had an insightful discussion about the Omani culture. The place is super serene, magical full of stars in the evening. The food was great and delicious including the breakfast as well. Ali is a great host and we would come back and visit again for sure.
