From the friendly staff , fire place, jacuzzi - it was a trip to remember ! To top it off , very dog friendly, our Labrador had a great time !

It allowed us to unwind and fully detach from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The facilities were top-notch, offering everything you could possibly need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. From the beautiful land to the cosy, well-equipped rooms, every detail was thoughtfully arranged to ensure comfort. What truly set this experience apart, however, were the hosts. They were incredibly warm and friendly, making us feel right at home from the moment you arrived. Their genuine hospitality added a special touch to the entire stay.

The house smelled clean as we walked in, and it was immaculate inside. The beds were comfortable, the toiletries provided were lovely (bars not bottles), and the layout worked really well. Great use of space. The bedrooms were surprisingly large, too. The property is in a great location, so you can go walking on the coastal path right from the door. Well signposted, lots of parking, a lovely peaceful sot to stay near São Martinho do Porto.

Of course the windmill is very picturesque himself, but the view it’s amazing, and the host is the absolute best! Always available and ready to help! When you think of such a location, you’d think of driving in a stone path without lights : they have indeed a very comfortable path and you can reach it by car and park almost in front of your mill. The windmill is very clean and every detail is promptly selected to match the whole setting of the country style. In your windmill, you’ll find everything you need in order to prepare a breakfast to enjoy on the back of the windmill, enjoying the valley, wind and sunrise. We were sad because we just stayed 2 nights!! Highly suggested ✨
