This is one of the nicest places that I had ever stayed in. The views are incredible, the accommodations are very comfortable and the staff were so welcoming. I will definitely be back.

With inner courtyard views, this accommodation features a patio and a swimming pool. The luxury tent provides rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. This was the best place we have ever stayed. We loved the view so much, the staff were very helpful and welcoming. The view is something you won't get over. Awesome pool, washing facilites to use (1 euro for detergent pod) and free bread for all of the pods. We highly recommend this spot & loved watching the sunset every afternoon.

It’s also a 6-8 hour round trip to pico do Areiro hiking from the shelters, just follow the markers.

Lovely cabin surrounded by mountain views, we saw so many stars at night. There's a great place to eat and drink (O Barracão), just 10 mins walk from the cabin, and it's only 20 minutes drive from Funchal (we had a rental car, but I believe there's a bus stop nearby too). It felt like a little home away from home, bed was very comfortable, shower was excellent and the little kitchenette had a stove top, microwave, kettle, coffee machine and fridge. Our host was wonderful, very welcoming and gave us lots of recommendations. I would definitely stay here again!

The place is amazing, very cozy and amazing views- really into nature. It is equipped with everything you need and the bed is sooo confortable. The staff is also very kind and always available. From the park you can do a 2-3h walk to Pico Areeiro- we did it for sunrise and was moderate level. We would definitely come back in the future!!
