The property features river views and is 31 km from Skukuza Golf Course. It was very comfortable and luxurious, yet in the middle of the animal action. The staff were helpful and supportive in every way.

The main caretaker, Kaley, is great when it comes to customer service. She made sure our stay was comfortable and even went out of the way to pack picnic sandwiches for us when we wanted to venture out on our own. The safari guide, Floid, is very knowledgeable, and if you stay for 2-3 days, he'll make sure you see every type of animal you had on your wish list. These guys include 1 complimentary safari per night of your stay (so if you stay for 3 nights, 3 safaris are inclusive), and I feel it's the best package because a couple of self drives in Kruger are a must do in my opinion, just for the thrill of it. The tents are quite comfortable and have all the amenities you'd expect in a luxurious hotel room. The AC works well (believe me, you NEED it if you visit in the summers like we did), the pool is clean, the bathrooms are great. The food was superlative - we had exotic 3 course complimentary dinners every single evening. I suggest booking a minimum of 3 days to really get the most out of Kruger.

Umkumbe Bush Lodge - Luxury Tented Camp is a recently renovated luxury tent in Sabi Sand Game Reserve, where guests can makes the most of its pool with a view, garden and bar. The property was built in 2021 and features air-conditioned accommodation with a patio. The luxury tent also offers free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. Amazing tents, super comfortable beds and we absolutely loved the outdoor shower(s)! Staff is super friendly! The chef cooked an extra meal for me because of my lactose intolerance, thank you so much for that! By the way the food was delicious! The way to get to the the camp is a bit of an experience with a small car but still possible. You will receive a warm welcome! We didn't expect a room service on our departure day.

Shayna, Emma and Angela were great hosts and guides, the staff was awesome and the Chef is GREAT! Safe and delicious place for vegans! The game drives were very nice and fun, the girls know their bush! We got to see the big five in only 2 days. The cabin was nice and cozy, even though it gets pretty hot during the day (at night it becomes bearable with the fan on). Good hot shower! The elephants in the pool are breathtaking and the highlight of this amazing place.

The staff was very friendly, we thank Leandra and Danel for their help, Mateo and Robert for the beautiful game drives. The food was delicious, fresh and very abundant, the room/tent was just fabulous: clean, comfy and big. We heard hyenas and lions in the night, adding to the magical atmosphere. The pool was also amazing and one day we spotted three giraffes passing by. What an experience. We did 2 game drives per day and the spottings of animals were just great, all the big 5 plus many many more

Each of the luxurious tents at Mdluli are air-conditioned and offer a private patio with views into the park. They all have both an indoor and an outdoor shower. I enjoyed every one of the staff was friendly and it felt like family will definitely come back again and stay much longer.
