They took us out on a private game drive whilst the staff was preparing a breakfast spot at the view point. Everyone assisted and overshot expectations. Apart from the lengths they went to to make the moment special, the whole weekend was amazing. The staff is exceptionally friendly and one feels at home. I would definitely recommend Summerplace for a weekend break away.

All of the food made for us was delicious. The chef even prepared me a special gluten free option each meal, including snacks, which was much appreciated! I have done one safari before but the wildlife we saw was out of this world. A heard of 20 Elephants came to the lodge one evening and we're drinking out of our plunge pools. It was a once in a lifetime experience that we will treasure.

Total.silence at night and the camp fire was massive. Completely felt alone in the South African Bush. You can walk for hours around the property. Henrick was a great host.
