I booked this hotel as at the time it was cheaper than the two budget hotels. The room was lovely overlooking the lake. The staff were friendly. Breakfast was included which it isn't in the budgets. Will definitely try to book The Copthorne rather than budgets in the future.

Beautiful room, stunning location. Breakfast was fabulous! The bathroom was like a spa! Rainwater shower and a power shower. Very modern and they give conditioner which is great for us ladies

This historic country inn has delicious food and luxury rooms. It is within a few km of the famous Celtic Manor Resort, home of the 2010 Ryder Cup. The Old Barn Inn dates back to the early 1750s.

We were made very welcome as soon as we arrived. Sian who seemed to be everywhere, really had a great way about her, she is an asset to The Old Barn. Breakfast was a treat, tasty and filling.

Located on the edge of Newport and just over a mile from the M4 motorway, the New Inn offers modern rooms with free Wi-Fi. Its restaurant serves a varied, hearty menu and free parking is available.

We had a pleasant and comfortable stay at this property. The location was ideal, especially as we were attending our daughter’s graduation ceremony at ICC Wales, which was just nearby. The place was clean, well-kept, and had everything we needed. *No complaints at all* — a smooth and enjoyable experience. Would definitely recommend!

Beautiful location. Very good value for money. Friendly staff. Nicely cooked breakfast, with healthy options, and served with a warm smile.
