The resort is stunning, the service is superior, the food is extraordinary, and there are so many thoughtful and meaningful touches that make this truly an experience instead of just a vacation. Family room was very spacious and luxury! They even had mini housecoats and slippers for the kids!! The pools and grounds were beautiful, we enjoyed the buffet breakfast on the balcony watching the sunrise.

It was very clean and organized, and every person from staff was extremly kind and ready to help. We really liked the fact that the entire property only has 20 rooms, which makes it really intimate and cozy - we often went to the pool or jacuzzi and we were by ourselves. We were there for our honeymoon and we absolutely loved it!

The hotel is wonderful. We liked everything. It’s great that there is an opportunity to use the pool when it rains and also the gym. I also really liked the animals that live on the property and the fact that they are well taken care of. The goats and sheep are very cute. It’s also great that the weather in this area is fresh — an excellent option to escape the heat.

Quinta Santo Antonio Da Serra is situated in the Madeira countryside, only 18 km from Funchal. All of the self contained apartments have a real wood fireplace and a balcony.

One of the best places we stayed in Madeira. Very cozy & clean. The best part is a fireplace , especially during winter. We spent all day just relaxing next to it, so plan a whole day stay, not just for overnight sleep. Also we used this place to go to Areeiro to catch sunrise.
