Feel like home. His mum cannot speak English but really pay attention to details. She can tell what we need in just a sec without using the translation. His wife is so helpful with ordering maccas for our kids as they are quite fussy. Thank you.

Wangyi Inn is a 5-minute walk from Dayongfu Palace, a 10-minute drive from Tianmen Mountain and a 10-minute drive from Zhangjiajie Railway Station. Wulingyuan Park is a 30-minute drive away. Great location to visit Tianmen Mountain and other attractions. Staff were super accommodating making sure I had everything I needed and had all the tourism information.

Location is very close to public transport and a bunch of food options. However the star of the show is the host Huang. 10/10 is for his exceptional hospitality. He went way above and beyond to make sure that you make the most of your stay at his place - from the airport pickup to helping with itinerary, to literally walking you to the bus stop. Any issues or questions- he’s got that covered. I haven’t felt that well taken care of anywhere else really. Thank you Huang 🙏

The hotel is really close to the airport (was only a few minutes by car) and within walking distance of the entrance of Tianmenshan National Forest Park. The breakfast was probably one of the best we had during our entire vacation (they also asked us what we wanted to eat on the day of our arrival), and the staff was friendly and really helpful. They helped us book the entrance tickets to Tianmenshan National Forest Park on time, picked us up from the airport for free, and even drove us to our next hotel in Wulingyuan. Definitely recommend staying here!!

The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. We spent a night in 张家界东篱山居民宿. I chose the place partly because it was close to the Zhangjiajie airport but mainly because of its view. We arrived late (almost midnight), the host picked us up from the airport (for free), we didn’t see much outside the house in the darkness, but were taken by the artistic decoration of the rooms. Next day, we were lucky to wake to a clear morning and greeted by a stunning view of the Tianmen Mountains (天门山) and Seven Stars Mountains （七星山）. The Tianme Cave (天门洞) is clearly visible from the house. The view is even better than I expected from the Booking.com’s reviews. Besides its hilltop location with excellent views all around and including a golf course right next door, the house also has a manicured garden including a lotus pond, clearly the owner has put in a lot of effort landscaping and maintaining the property. I only wished that we had more time to stay here and just enjoy its view and surroundings.

The guy in charge at the reception so cool! , he was really kindly. He drop us to the train station and was so helpfull with the info we asked. Also the breakfast so good! He was the best of the experience there.

So accomodating and helpful. We were able to use the pool 24/7 which has been hard to find in China! The view from the pool was beautiful. We had breakfast here also which was delicious. The room itself was comfortable and clean, great shower and great aircon!!
