We have stayed in over a dozen pensions in Mikulov and by far, this is the BEST one we’ve ever stayed in. The accommodation is centrally located to all attractions, and is large, spacious and very comfortable. It is exceptionally clean and has a fully-equipped kitchen. Our 10 day stay was over Christmas and our hosts went out of their way to make us feel at home by decorating a Christmas tree and making a delicious gingerbread snowflake cookie tree for us. We were so surprised and thankful for their exceptional hospitality!!

Secure parking included. We had room 3, on same floor as reception and breakfest, so we only had to carry our luggage up one flight of stairs. Very clean. Room 3 is a corner room, but we did not find traffic noise to be an issue. Staff was wonderful; the woman who checked us in was patient and smiling, overcoming the language barrier skillfully. Breakfest exceeded expectations, with plenty of options and perfectly cooked scrambled eggs with thin-sliced ham; the woman managing the breakfest was kind and spoke excellent English. LOCATION IS SUPER: we stayed in Valtice in order to visit the Wine Salon of the Czech Republic, and it was just a 5 minute walk away. The village itself has a pleasant atmosphere, and the people we encountered were very kind and helpful.
