The hosts Brian and Gillian are super hospitable and nice. The views are gorgeous, and the weather is great. I found. the service, amenities and facilities to be excellent. Even at night when we needed to go to the grocery store Gillian took us there in her car. Not to mention that they have given us snacks and prepared the sauna for us whenever we needed them. I would definitely recommend them. If you are a big family you can reserve the two cottages if you want the place all on your own. I went with my friend there and we enjoyed the stay. Nice rooms, good having a fridge in the room. Although I didn’t use it there was a leisure centre with spa and golf course.
Lovely place in a really nice location. Great views of the golf course from the restaurant. Spa is really nice too.
From the moment we arrived we were made very welcome , everyone was nice and helpful , staff at dinner and breakfast done a great job . The members of the golf club were also really nice spoke away to you telling you about the area, would definitely go back again lovely place for a relaxing weekend.
Golf course and cocktail bar
Arrived to a beautiful large bedroom with window overlooking the golf course, sitting area and the comfiest bed. There was a huge bathroom (bath and large separate walk in shower) all extremely clean and lovely toiletries provided. Staff were super friendly and most helpful and it was rather quiet when we stayed so plenty of seating choice in the large hall.
Played the golf course in March, bad idea 💡 Go in the summer everyone I can imagine then it would be a quality course. Beginning of march with a wind chill of 0 degrees was not ideal to say the least, the hills an the wind were brutal 😂 Got to see a load of deer running about too though so it was a good experience or though a tough one 😂😂
The location is incredible with the drive up the hill and then the golf course outside.
The staff were all great, and we had a good dinner and breakfast. The pool is big and there is a good sized and well furnished gym. There are a few beautiful walks around the river and golf course.
Very clean, has restaurant, pool & spa, bar and golf course. Breakfast was lovely, very friendly staff, good facilities at the spa area, nice big hotel
