Th property has a spacious outside seating area and a playground with plenty of walks straight from our door. Very nice accomodation with a busy restaurant (at evenings) but very tasty local cuisine. Our room was spacious, enough for a 2+2 family. The owner and all staff was very nice, there is a small "farm" with a children playground - appreciated. Breakfasts were nice and tasty.

Definitely recommend booking Brook Cottage if you’re in the area… it’s in a stunning location with wonderful views and yet still incredibly close to amenities, pubs, cafes and the Picturedrome. The attention to detail is fabulous and it’s clear the cottage has been lovingly renovated to deliver all the cosiness you’ll love, with a modern twist. We were particularly touched to see milk in the fridge and snacks in the cupboard, and the number of USB chargers around the place worked well for us too. The property is spotlessly clean and tidy as well as very tastefully decorated - a real home from home.
