Upon arrival my hostess was quick to come and meet me outside making me feel very welcome. My room was very spacious with room to spread out my large suitcase on the extra bed. A full spread for tea and coffee was set in my room including biscuits and proper tea cups & saucers. There was milk (not artificial whitener) for my tea in a fridge that we could also use for our food. The bed was extremely comfortable with lots of pillows as well as all the linens and towels were great quality. The common spaces were modern and comfortable. And the hostess checked in before I went to bed. Great location to a lovely beach I wish I had booked this property for more than one night.

The Lodge is Fabulous, beautiful bedroom comfortable bed , bathroom fantastic. Dining room is spectacular with a beautiful view Delicious breakfast . Parking on sight, short walk across the road then down a path to a castle A very short drive on Sky Loop road to see the best sunset. Ruth is a lovely, kind and caring host Clifden town centre is walkable or a short drive. A pleasure to see a history of music decorated through the Lodge. Its very hard for one to checkout once checked in.

On our trip to Ireland we stayed in five airbnbs. Clifden Bay Lodge was, by far, the best. Location, view, comfort were very good. Small things, like good size, clearly labeled containers of shampoo and soap that did not require flashlight to read helped. Breakfast was memorable with home baked pastries. The owner made the place special.

Buttermilk Lodge offers self-catering apartments 5 minutes' walk from Clifden town centre, you can just park your car and easily walk to town. We had a really great stay at Buttermilk. The lodge is surrounded by greenery but 5 minutes walk from Clifden centre. The staff is super nice, the structure and rooms are cozy and clean and breakfasts are GREAT! It's a perfect position to visit Connemara and would absolutely recommend it.

We celebrated my 60th birthday with 13 friends from all over the United States. We all stayed within Clifden town and enjoyed a night all together on the beautiful deck. Loved the location and kitchen/deck space. So convenient to all the shops, pubs, restaurants, and grocery store. Gerard was wonderful to work with- friendly and very responsive. It is an older home which some might not like but we loved it and would come back time and again.

Ben Gower está en Glentrasna, a 36 km de Iglesia St. Nicholas' Collegiate y a 37 km de Plaza Eyre, en una zona donde se puede practicar ciclismo. We both loved our 3 night stay at Ben Gower. The house was very well equipped and so cosy. We slept really well as the rooms so quiet and dark. The cottages are at the end of a long fairly steep lane, so they really are very peaceful. Even the black faced sheep that amble about around the grassy areas don’t seem to make any noise! There was lots of space for guest parking and with several cottages available to rent this would be a perfect retreat for a group of family or friends. We would definitely recommend to others.

Corrib está a 35 km de Universidad Nacional de Galway y a 36 km de Iglesia St. Nicholas' Collegiate, y ofrece wifi gratis y jardín. Lovely quiet location just 10 mins drive to the nearest village. Rory the owner was very helpful and gave us plenty of advice on where to visit. We had a great few days exploring with the family. The Power Thatch restaurant:pub is a must for traditional Irish food and Clancys is great for brunch and traditional Irish music 👍👍
