Breakfast was delicious and served at your table by very professional staff. The room was amazing with a spectacular view of the perfectly groomed garden and Kilkenny Castle. The location made it easy to see all of the main sites within the townsite and is close to many great pubs and restaurants. A river walk is minutes away and there are plenty of quality shops. Highly recommend fish and chips at Matt the Millar's, just down the hill.

The hotel is very well designed and the rooms are great. One should have sufficient time to enjoy the peroperty as it has a lot to offer. The restaurant was packed and obviously well thought of. Just know you are staying on the premises of an active farm a few minutes outside of Kilkenney, which we loved getting to see the sheep, goats, and cattle all around! Even friendly dogs too.

The apartment is the bottom corner of a house in a suburban area about 10 mins walk from Kilkenny Castle. Instructions for finding it and getting in were clear. We were able to park in the driveway. The bedroom was spacious with hanging space and shelves for clothes.The bathroom was small but functional.A dring rack, which we set up in the sunny conservatory meant our washing dried quickly. Milk, water, prossecco, tea, coffee, chococino pods and chocolates were left which was much appreciated.

The house was GORGEOUS - large bedrooms, clean, had toiletries and laundry soap and extra coffee/tea/sugar/etc. in the kitchen. Outside sitting area was lovely with a grill. They even had a golf cart (we didn't use it but what a lovely feature)!!! Absolutely silent at night.
