We informed the management of the estimated time of our arrival and told them we would get a taxi straight to the facility. When we arrived at the Westport train station we were met by a member of the management in a mini bus. Lovely surprise. When my husband and friend arrived much later that evening the kitchen was closed but they cheerfully reopened it and fed them with a fabulous plate of fresh fish and chips. The food was absolutely delicious and very plentiful. The owners and staff were wonderful, very warm and friendly. The apartment was very pleasant and comfortable. I cannot speak highly enough of the people of this warm and welcoming place. I hope to return there someday and very highly recommend it to people looking for a lovely vacation experience. Bernie and Mary are amazing hosts and they have a lovely home. Everything was always clean and we had access to the kitchen with dishes, fridge, microwave and kettle with coffee or tea. There are also hairdryers in the rooms. The sockets in the room have a UK input but also have a USB port. I have to thank again Bernie to drive me and my friend when there was a big storm. Hope to visit again.

And The Tavern gastro pub is also just across the road (food exceptional) . Both bedrooms spacious with en-suites. One room is upstairs and the other downstairs so I really liked that privacy. Absolutely awesome location .
