Faloe Hostel is gelegen in Kota Kinabalu, op 1,8 km van Filipino Market Sabah en 4,1 km van Sabah State Museum & Heritage Village. The staff were superb. Sya the receptionist in particular is very hospitable and helpful: no task or question will make her flinch or nervous. She is incredibly helpful and a net positive to the hostel with her work attitude. The housekeeping cleaners are very diligent with their work and never slacked off. Smoking corner has good ventilation and there is plenty of seating and power outlets. Also a tv with cable and spare computer, card games and board games. Laundry is affordable at 12 MYR for dry and wash and the staff will help you with it. There are ample toilets and shower and the place is very clean. Lots of hooks to hang your clothes. You can leave your bags and relax in the common area after checking out. The private room was extremely comfortable and spacious and the AC was strong. Tours are on offer and you pay in cash. Staff know exactly what they are doing and they are honest - I forgot to take out my money from my shorts pocket and the staff returned it to me promptly when doing my laundry. Very easy to make new friends here and it is a social place. Will come back!!!!!

The hotel is a beautiful little quiet oasis with a very friendly and helpful staff who made our stay so easy and comfortable. The area around is beautiful and for adventurous travelers it is the perfect place to stay as the hotel helps arrange all kinds of activities for you like a trip to bako national park or the orangutang nature reserve. It was perfect in December as the hotel was quiet and the weather was nice.

Place is quiet and peaceful area. Went to for my daughter's registration at UiTM and the place is just right across. Have to go to opposite site to find restaurants so is better if you have a car. The accommodations is superb and very clean. Host was very attentive and fast response.

I stayed here for a night on 30.07.2025. The hotel room is superb, feels premium and it is worth the price. The concept is a modern hotel in the forest. Beautiful sunset and priceless memories! Very spacious & well furnished apartment. Clean and comfortable with all necessary amenities. Bonus is 4000+ movies. The host is very friendly and thoughtful. He even bought a huge bottle of drinking water for us. My 2 teenagers were asking to stay for more days!!!
