The hotel is located within a commercial complex in the centre of the town, easy to park and there are plenty of restaurants and bars around. The stuff members are all very friendly. We liked the room - very modern, spacious, comfortable beds, nice toiletries..... The room was on the 1st floor, facing to the parking space, but it was quiet at night. Highly recommended if you are travelling

Located in Turangi, Riverstone Lodge, a 5-star hostel, offers a shared kitchen, a shared lounge and free WiFi. The property provides garden views and a terrace. People make the difference in everything and our host, Sandra, wasnt the exception. She did her best so that we had a pleasant and comfy stay! When we arrived after a long day on the roads, she offered to upgrade us for a better sleep. Loved her! Her house? A small paradise for any hiker arriving at Turangi! Clean, spacious, easy for socializing, offering a variety of facilities and free parking! Definitely one of our best stays in whole new Zealand!

Incredible motel right at the town center of Taupo. The studio room was squeaky clean, bed was comfortable and the small kitchen was plenty for what we needed. The owners could not have been nicer! Seriously some of the nicest people we’ve ever met. Very helpful, informative and most of all kind. Each room has a parking spot.

She made a terrific, hearty breakfast including fresh bread, eggs, coffee with all options of milk, and even offered vegetarian breakfast options to my vegetarian guest. She readily offered fruit from her fruit tree and fresh smoothies every day. She let us do our laundry for free, moved cars around when we struggled to back out, and offered recommendations for the city. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend to everyone I know. Nanette is so sweet and kind, it's truly like staying with family.

Close to a great set of shops and eateries in Hamilton east too.
